Preferably a reasonably appropriate and entertaining comedy or action movie that will appeal to a large audience. Also should be easy to snap in and out of (if someone tunes out for a few minutes, will they still be able to understand what's going on?). All suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!! :)

The Princess Bride is a wonderful action/comedy/romance that we constantly show at our school movie nights, and is a personal favourite of my whole family. Don't be turned off by the name, I promise you it is anything but a chick flick.
Another classic is 'The Goonies.'
Ferris Bueller's Day Off is a highly loved movie, though I have never seen it myself. You could also show the original Jurrasic Park. Fantastic Mr. Fox is amazing, hilarious, and action-packed, but the stop-motion could alienate some viewers.
(I've listed these in order of how great the movie is + how well each fits your criteria)
Scary movies .... Conjuring, exorcist, just any scarey movie !!!! Maze runner is a good movie and fault in our starts,if I stay , dumb and dumder 2,hair spray, geese, zombie land, chech and chong, night befor chrismes, book of life, any sad movies, girls movies, clueless, and that is all I got so far I hope I helped !!!! Bye
Wow you sure seem to know a lot about movies :D. Haven't heard of Zombie Land and Check and Chong, but I'll definitely be checking those out! Btw, you have no idea how amazing I think you are simply for recommending Grease and the Exorcist <3. Bye and thank you :)
I'm loving your suggestion to show Ferris Bueller's Day Off and the Goonies since those are some of my own personal faves :) lol. I'll be sure to share these at my next meeting. Thanks so much :).
