I'm thinking about just doing healthy snacks and only having meals on occasion. My diet would be mostly fruits, some veggies, nuts and seeds and oatmeal. The only real junk food I'd have would be low-carb energy drinks and diet soda.
most people do not need 3 meals these days, or even two meals. Since many people have office jobs or low activity jobs they wouldn't need more than a snack here or there. The only people who would need one two maybe three meals a day would be the heavy lifters and hard labor employees.
As long as I don't starve myself and keep it healthy, why not?
Living on healthy snacks instead of having meals?

The best bet would to be talk to a nutritionist, but here's my imput.
Overall, its better for your body if you eat 5 light meals (each meal roughly 15% of your daily calorie needs). The rest of your calories could then come from snacks. If you are not sure that you are able to take in your required vitamins, then you can try supplements, however this is usually not as effecient as getting them from normal meals. If you do eat a larger meal, then yes, breakfast is the better one as it will "jump start" your body.
I think I've narrowed my diet down to something that works. Everyone's health is different. Which is why I don't think 5 meals a day would work. I believe you should have a breakfast that contains about 25 percent of your daily calorie intake and the rest should be snacks. Stuff like seeds nuts and no white carbs.
my diet allows me to have only complex carbs. like oats and whole wheat breads. the only junk foods I have now are diet sodas and low-carb energy drinks.
So just breakfast then.
