Windows Media Services supports three different unicast streaming protocols Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP), Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), and Microsoft Media Server protocol (MMS). Both RTSP and MMS can operate over a TCP or UDP transport.
