I am a 22 healthy and athletic girl. I have been suffering with anxiety and depression for sometime now. I recently was prescribed with lexapro. I have been on it for a week now. It at first gave me more energy and curved my appetite. Now I just feel so lazy. Like I could literally lay on my couch for hours. Getting up to get a glass of water even sounds like work. I work out everyday and eat very healthy overall. Has anyone else ever had this problem? If so...should it go away? I can't handle it much longer. I know these medications can take time to adjust.

yes they do take time to ajust it takes sometimes for the medication to cycle to your system if you work out each day and your eating healthy it will just take time to balance out the effects of the medication normally its about a 3 week period before you see theses thing start to come into focus they do make you sleepy that shows they are trying to do their job keep being active don't stop that it will go away
OK. I'm Also worried because a lot of people make comments about gaining weight. I'm not sure if that's because they are eating more due to feeling better and having more of an appetite or because the pill itself. I really do not want this to be a problem.
