it might be better to make a living will one that states where mom wants her jewlery to go this would be more of a legal value to go because it looks better on more involved will to put this in it and what she wants done in case something happens to her plus its more legal go to lawyers .com she might be able to find something there to use and just print it off and have a notary wittness the signature that it is marys signature this is a much better way to do this that way if she wants to give something to a specific person it would be legal sometimes they say just a piece of paper doesn't work real good
