hello my laptop runs dangerously close to overheating. I have a Nec versa with Win 7 home prem 32 bit. I am using CrystalDiskInfo to monitor my temp. it is the most accurate. anyway this is what I have done so far to my laptop.
1. cleaned fans and ports.
2.replaced cooling fan with new
3. new thermal grease for cpu and new thermal pad for vga
4. new hdd and fresh install Win 7 with new partitions
5. heatsink took to comp shop to check its integrity. checks out ok no leaks or cracks
6. all drivers up to date.
7. new memory and ram
8. all programs have there check for new updates turned off except windows update and anti-virus program.
9. used spybot and malaware bites and MSE to check for virus and malware. everything is negative.
Problem is that it is still going to overheat I have to shut it down after 30 min of use. if I don't shut it down it will overheat. so after doing all this and everything was installed correctly 100 % why is my laptop still overheating?
