I've had knee pain since March. I have a very active lifestyle, and was boxing a lot around the time it happened. I was also doing high intensity exercise and weights. I'm 21 and tall. I first started feeling the pain when I was doing weighted lunges, especially when the knee would move forward further than the foot (poor form). I've had an x Ray and mri but the doctor can't find anything. The pain is located on my right knee, just above the knee cap, at about 11 o'clock if looking at it straight on (so more on the outside than the inside. The pain isn't severe but it stops me from doing too much with my knee. I don't think it's quadriceps tendinitis because it feels slightly on the outside of that tendon and maybe a fraction more internal. My knee also crunches when I put pressure through it. Does anyone know what is wrong with it and can suggest any exercises to get it better? Many thanks, Ed x
