Any advice?
I’m not trying to look toned, just thinner. I want to be more confident in my body and fit into smaller sizes. I’m athletic and can do high intensity workouts and training. I don’t want to be buff, just healthier looking. Just wondering what diets and exercise routines work best for anyone else?.
I’m 5’3 135 lbs and 18 years old. I’m trying to lose 10 lbs within 2 weeks for an event.

Try eating the ketogenic diet way, that will lose you the excess water weight quickly. You'll find information all over the internet if you type that in.
It's basically not eating any of the traditional carbohydrates such as bread, pasta, rice, baked goods and so on and sticking to just 20g of carbs from salad greens, some low carb veges and the rest of the calories should come from fats and some proteins.

You are in fairly good shape for a female, only slightly on the chubby side of normal. If you are a male you need to put a box on your head and carry some sinkers to get up to normal numbers.
Here is a fat (actually water) reducing recipe that I recently tried. I lost 13 pounds in two weeks.
