I am a teenage looking to go on birth control to lighten my period  I have smoked three times before but haven't smoked lately  and my doctor asks if I smoke what should I say should I say I quit or I have once before or just no

If you are not currently smoking; then you do not smoke. I would not say I was a smoker even if I casually smoked. Meaning a cigarette or two every month. Those few cigarettes does not necessitate a smoker to me.

say to the doctor that you did before and dont anymore it is very important that a person on the pill  are honest about that because the pill  could raise the blood pressure and smoking can cause high blood pressure also

Well its best if you quit for sure but you dont want to lie to the doctor.  Just be honest his your doctor they need to know .  being a teenager you shouldn't be smoking but i understand i started when i was 11 and smoked for about 30 years ,  but i quite about 7 years ago and i feel awesome.  Food taste better my clothes dont stink hair doesn't smell.  Anyway  is there a reason why your doctor is asking you if you smoke ?  is it because your getting birth control?
