I've had strep throat for nearly a year, the doc won't do anythig about it, what do I do?

I have all the symptoms and was just about get get treatmet but we moved house and now i'm out of cachment for that doctors surgery, I need to signup to the new one in town but i don't even know where it is. Any suggestions.
