I've also been reading the bible and it scares me that I'm thinking this way.

First of all, what do you say evolution is?
A definition of evolution is: Organic evolution is the theory that the first living organism developed from lifeless matter. Then, as it reproduced, it is said, it changed into different kinds of living things, ultimately producing all forms of plant and animal life that have ever existed on this earth. All of this is said to have been accomplished without the supernatural intervention of a Creator. Some persons endeavor to blend belief in God with evolution, saying that God created by means of evolution, that he brought into existence the first primitive life forms and that then higher life forms, including man, were produced by means of evolution.
Many scientists give the impression that the fossil record supports the theory of a common origin for life. They also claim that because all living things use similar “computer language,” or DNA, that all life must have evolved from a common ancestor.
What does the Bible say? The Genesis account states that plants, sea creatures, land animals, and birds were created “according to their kinds.” (Genesis 1:12, 20-25) This description allows for variation within a “kind,” but it implies that there are fixed barriers separating the different kinds. The Bible account of creation also leads us to expect that new types of creatures would appear in the fossil record suddenly and fully formed.
The Bible says that “[God] created all things.” (Revelation 4:11) He did not “rest” until his creative work was complete. (Genesis 2:2) The implication is clear: God did not create a simple organism and then rest, or take a backseat, while that organism evolved over millions of years into various kinds of fish, apes, and humans.* That idea, called macroevolution, denies the role of a Creator, who the Bible says “made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them.”—Exodus 20:11; Revelation 10:6.
“You are worthy, Jehovah our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things.”—Revelation 4:11.
The Bible says that God’s “invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made.” (Romans 1:20) Learning about God can give real meaning to life, for he has a loving purpose that includes all who sincerely seek him. (Ecclesiastes 12:13; Hebrews 11:6)

What aspect of evolution are you studying? Are you studying it in the manner where the conclusion is that everything happened by chance and there is no design, no creator? Or are you studying science wherein the conclusion is one of how things came about? Knowing the aspect in which you are studying and the conclusion you are coming to will assist me in answering your question more accurately. I look forward to hearing from you.
The thing is, you do not know Jehovah well enough. Because those who know Jehovah will act effectively and prevail (Daniel 11:32). Also, faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for (Hebrews 11:1). So, you see, knowledge is extremely important to us. Jesus showed this in John 17:3. And the Bible is how we gain this knowledge (2 Timothy 3:16, 17). So, study the Bible. Make sure you understand that you cannot properly understand the Bible without Jehovah's help (Proverbs 18:1; Jeremiah 10:23, 24).
