I'm 16 years old (female) and approximately 90 lbs. I've been small my whole life and I've never been able to put on weight. So in May, I had to come home from school because I felt like I would throw up. I thought to myself "I'll try again tomorrow and I'm sure I'll feel better." But I didn't. I had to leave school and I didn't show up again for two weeks or more. I would occasionally get pains in my abdomen. Like a burning, gnawing pain. The symptoms wax and wane throughout the day. I felt nauseous constantly and lost about three pounds. On a small frame it is easy to notice. Anyways, I would force myself to eat even though I felt as though I could hardly stomach it. I was taken to emergency twice because I felt so sick. Later, long story short; I was admitted to the hospital and stayed there for four days. The doctor ran tests such as a urinalysis, a Barium test, a breath test (H. Pylori) and various blood work. All came back normal. I was prescribed antacids and I have noticed a slight change. The symptoms are slightly more bearable. I have become slightly depressed during this because I cannot go out and do things with friends for fear I may become sick. I have read things online and I have come to think that maybe this has to do with my ovaries or my reproductive system. I'm desperately looking for answers and any help that I can get. I just want to feel normal again. If any of you are experiencing similar symptoms currently, or in the past please take the time to answer my question
I've been sick for four months?

I do not have an eating disorder, and I am not malnourished. I eat three meals per day with snacks in between. So me not getting enough food is out of the question.

I have a friend that had about the same thing going on the eating situation is cause you get sick because theres no food going into your system there for you get nauseated.,You might try eating smaller meals till you get better mabe like boost nutritional drink with the vitamins and what you need to get better just like a little at a time.keep your antacids.
