I wouldn't recommend a complete day of cheating, because going back to dieting might get really hard after that. Maybe you can have a treat every once in a while. Remember that it takes time to get used to a new lifestyle, so you will eventually feel more confident about how much you can cheat without losing the good habit.
Diets usually don't work because of the feeling you have noticed: you really don't want to live that way. You need to study some books about nutrition so you know how to eat right and then you can diet on anything you can catch, only being sure that it is actually food. When you are not hungry, stop eating.
I have done diets before and i know how hard they are i also did a similar diet to yours but i would do a cheat day every 2 weeks of diet. so every 2 weeks of diet i would cheat on one meal not an entire day and also don't go to crazy because think how hard it was to make to 3 weeks and anything can mess that up so you need to have self control. usually a cheat day is good once in a while so you can be refreshed the next day and stronger to continue the diet but if you don't have cheat day there will be a day where you will not handle and you would break your diet and all your hard work will be gone. when i say don't go crazy with cheats day that is the most important i would only have 2 slices of pizza and that is it that would be my cheat day and my breakfast and dinner would stay the same as if i was doing a diet. i hope this helps i gave you advice according to my personal experiences with diets.
Hope this helps :)
