I'm having issues with my ITB band hurt maybe 10-15 minutes into my run. I've been running for as long as I remember and it came out of nowhere. I took about a few weeks off from running hoping it should fix the problem, but the next time I tried to run it snuck up on me again and hurt even worse. I looked into and came to the conclusion it was my ITB band. I've been doing strengthening exercise every other day for the past 3 weeks and I tried running againand to no surprise it started hurting again. I've tried all types of running shoes just for it not to help at all. I try to avoid the doctor for the simple fact I'm not a fan of going to the doctor. May someone help please? Running is one of the few things I absolutely love to do. It's an escape for me and how I cope with stress. This has been going on for about 3-4 months. The strengthening exercises I do are Leg lifts, squats, clam shells, hip hikes, pistol squats and iron body.
