I need to translate this into japanese, but don't know if its right.
'I went to france for a week by plane with my family'
watashi wa ishuukan ni kazoku to hikouki de furansu ni ikimashita.
Is this the correct japanese translation?

Yes, that would be correct. However, in Japanese you usually don't use the personal pronoun "watashi" as it is almost always implied in the sentence and gives a to conceited impression. If possible, you avoid the pronoun and that is what you should do here. Ishuukan ni kazoku to hikouki de furansu ni ikimashita.
