I've had asthma for three years so I often have troubled breathing during sports events. However 2 weeks ago in my volleyball game I started feeling light headed and my chest hurt. My breathing was very rapid and not wheezing like an asthma attack. My athletic trainer thinks I might have had a panic attack. Now, often after sprints or running 2 miles or just working hard I start breathing really fast and get dizzy. My chest hurts sometimes and once I felt nauseous. However I never am afraid or think I'm dying. And also the rapid breathing comes randomly like once it happened after lifting weights and usually after running. Once it started happening while I was taking a test and I was nervous. Someone please tell me what's wrong! Is this panic attackS? What can I do? Should I see a doctor?

yea sounds like panic attacks one in the same anxiety attacks are also in that area i would see a doctor just to make sure everything is working right cause if it isn't they can treat it sometimes medication helps also they say you aren't gonna die from it you need to watch the asthma thou it can sneak up on you stress can bring on a bad paic attack cause their both in the same calibration yes see your dr cause then he is notified of whats occuring
