I feel very weird, I always feel like there's someone watching me and I'm always quite paranoid. For example, when I'm in my room, I feel as if there's hidden cameras put there by someone who can watch my every move. It sometimes affects the way I do my daily work, and it kind of makes me anxious and scared. Even if I go in another room, I'd feel the same way. Is this normal or not?

Hello, I used to have similar situation. I am a very paranoid person and I suffer with high anxiety. I used to feel like everyone was watching me and knew everything about me. It started affected me a lot to the point I never used to go out. I made bad decisions to try and stop the way I felt and I ended up in hospital worse than ever. I started getting counselling after that and it helped loads. Maybe you should consider counselling because talking to someone who you don't know can help you with the way you feel and the problems you have, it allows you to gain a different perspective. Counsellors are professionally trained to help with problems like your own. It helped me a lot therefore it may help you as well.
Anxiety is a powerful, powerful thing where all your fears just instantly feel like they've come alive. You are not alone, believe me. Have you had a bad past with being watched? Just continue to fight and tell yourself that nobody is there. My suggestion is that maybe you could go see a counsellor if you continue to feel so deeply anxious. Or maybe if it effects your daily work, you could move to a place with another person, perhaps a parent or a friend to ease your thoughts. Just breathe and go for a walk to take your mind of it. Refresh yourself and ease the anxiety. Music really works for me when I'm anxious so maybe try that. I would definitely recommend the duo "oh wonder". Try to stay calm and if it gets too much, move to another place.
