I stood up and a few seconds later my vision went out and it was completely dark. I was still standing but it felt as though my whole body had shut down a few seconds later my vision came back in pixels my face felt really warm and my heart rate picked up and was beating really hard?

Yes this is a version of blacking out. You were lucky you didn't fall and hit your head on the ground. It can happen for many reasons. Sometimes if you stand up too fast your blood pressure drops and you black out. Other times it is when you body overheats. (Heat exhaustion) When I did this, bystanders said I was standing there then I slurred my words and hit the ground. (I remember talking normally.) Other times they said I just stood there, stared at them and ignored them. But really I was having another black-out episode.
Long story short - if it happens more than once you should consult your doctor. There are too many reasons to discuss here and some of them are serious. Your doctors will probably want to rule out diabetes, heart problems, circulation problems, etc. But it could also be dehydration, a new prescription side effect, or heat exhaustion. Check with your doctor if you have any more episodes. Or better yet, run it by them now.
Good luck.
