If I have enough money, can that secure my future?

You can live well with lots of money.
It won't buy you talent or skills or knowledge. It pays for excellent schools so you have access to good teaching but you have to learn it yourself.
You can attract a lot of people who will claim to like you but real honest love you can't buy.
It is fascinating to study money. We live in a world where you can not exist without some, and yet when you study the subject you learn that money does not actually exist. The Federal Reserve, not the government, creates money without even needing paper. And when a government falls, the paper money it printed gets dumped in a field and allowed to rot. Here is a picture of Soviet Russian money after the government collapsed:

So if the money is worthless, where is a nation's wealth? That is to some extent a matter of opinion, and you will have to form your own opinion as you study. There are different forms of wealth. And some of those forms don't actually exist.
There are plenty of things money can't buy. Money can buy a woman, but not a good woman. But at the same time, if a man doesn't have money to keep his woman amused, even a good woman might leave. It happens all the time.
But for a straight answer to your question, ... Forget it, there are no straight answers.

The bottom line: There is more to a secure future than stockpiling money. After all, money can be stolen—and it cannot cure disease or prevent death. (Ecclesiastes 7:12) “Stop storing up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break in and steal.”—Matthew 6:19
The Bible teaches that genuine security comes from knowing God and his purpose.—John 17:3. Simple isn't it.
There are over 9,000,000 people from all nations who are living a simple life taking care of their daily needs with a much richer hope for a secure future.
You can experience this hope now.
