Yeah go for it, the only foreseeable problem is that black is tricky. Defiantly ask a professional first if you plan on doing it at home. I have dyed my hair several times myself and making sure you get everything right is important. Or else things could go wrong and it's never fun when they do.

I dye my hair midnight black like black and blue

I did that the first time I dyed my hair, it was pretty awesome.

Any dye you use gets all over your shower and stays there forever.

You have to scrub it with vinegar, but that's never happened to me.
