As you all know the worlds one of the biggest and oldest rivalry is in between these two countries the stable relationship between them only stand for only 5 years (2004-2008).but now and in the past these nations have fought and fighting wars(in past) and cross border ceasefire violations, killing dozens of soldiers and civilians every year In the recent SAARC(south Asian association for regional cooperation) summit 2014 (in which both the nations are permanent members).the prime ministers of both nations don't even greet each other I don't see any scope for friendship between them now,but in future may be possible
Is there any possibility of friendship between India and Pakistan?

Religion sucks doesn't it.. and as long as it exists India and Pakistan will not be friends. Afterall, the reason the British created Pakistan was to seperate the religions in order to stop them all killing each other.
Also it really isn't one of the biggest and oldest rivalries it's really rather recent.
