Is there any evidence that black holes can suck up light? If so, has astronauts been sucked up? Yet?

...I am just wondering if there has been any evidence that astronauts have seen light and then see it be sucked up the black holes out in space. Also, how many black holes are out there in the universe?

These are questions that I've been wondering for a while. One more thing, what will happen to our planet in a million years? What will the sun do to our planet? To the other planets?
