I'm 16 at the moment and I haven't actually had my photo taken for about a year and a half now(October 2013), I can't be behind a camera, I see people hold up their phones or whatever and I duck out of the way to get out of the shot, even if it's plainly obvious they aren't taking a picture of me... It's getting in the way of my social life really badly, no family photos or pictures with anyone, I have a profile picture that's two and a half years old :/ it's not fun... Please help me someone
Oh and I think that the fear originated because of people putting stuff up on facebook of me, but now it's just gone a little bit crazy and it's a full on like... Almost photophobia :(
Thanks if you can help ~
Is there a way to get past my fear of cameras?

How about photos of yourself? This might be a start as you can have control of what gets kept and uploaded and what gets deleted. Once you are a bit more comfortable with this, try getting a few of your closet friends to take photos of you and looking at what they do. Hope this helps
I think this would be a great start, I have problems with seeing myself in cameras
And I don't really honestly trust any of my friends to take photos of me :( they all think I'm joking when I say it's an honest phobia and tell me to get over it
My family doesn't help with it either... Everyone thinks it's a joke
