I have a friend in another state who has a really crappy computer. However, I want him to be able to play some games that he can't normally run, and I am willing to let him use my computer while I watch him play/talk to him. I'm sure that this more than likely cannot be done, but I can't find anything via google and thought I'd try my luck here. Thanks for reading :D tl/dr: i want my online friend to play games via my computer

I've had techs take over control of my computer in order to solve problems but i dont think it can be done by just anybody. They were my internet provider so all my computer info was in their system.
However, i think you would be asking for trouble allowing someone inside your computer. Hackers viruses passwords loss of privacy signed up for apps you never wanted to hidden so you couldnt find it. I could go on and on. Dont say it wouldnt happen. You have words hurt feelings split up as friends or someone else in your friends family finds out and gets in there. NEVER LET ANYONE HAVE FREE ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER is my opinion.
First off, thank you for the response :D
Second, I agree with what you're saying. It IS taking a huge risk, even with the person being someone I've known for 10+years. However I think if something were to be made which allows that, it might also come included with restrictions.
Some examples being something along the lines of:
I can assume and release control via a mandatory keybind which only works on my end,
Restrict control to only certain programs that you'd have to include manually,
Have a possible 'anti-cheat' or 'anti-hack' program that runs along with it.
I've considered TeamViewer but I believe that got hacked a while back unless i'm remembering something wrong. I guess that should be a turn-off in itself lol. But then again TeamViewer isn't really meant for video game sharing to begin with.
