Fishing from a canoe, in a small lake in Wisconsin, my father and I came across a very cold area. When we looked into the water, many feet below was an area of what looked like a cluster of stringiness that glowed a purple/blue color. This area was not near the shore of the lake it was more towards the middle of the lake. We were really disturbed by this and never went back to that spot again. But I have always wondered if it was something naturally occurring or if consequences of something man made. (We didn't catch anything either)
