My cat has a crooked claw which grows in a painful way causing her to limp. I am 15 and don't work, I don't have the money to take her to the vet but she has been in more and more pain the longer she goes unhelped, lots of things get stuck underneath and around her nail. I wanted to know if there is an option of going to a place that really just wants to help the animal. I feel awful everyday so please if you know a place let me know!

If the claw has grown around in a C shape and is growing up into the pad of the foot you can be darn certain this is extremely painful. It is equal to an ingrown toenail on you in the severity of the pain.
You can avoid this by having the vet show you how to trim the cat's claws. I trim my cats every other month. When I flip the calendar I trim nails. You will need to buy a nail trimmer at the vets office or a pet supply store but they last forever. You cannot use human nail clippers or scissors.
