Is the world really going to end April 18th of this year ?

No sorry, most probably not. Everything will keep going.

Don't know where you got that info, but know one else seems to know about it or seem to be concerned.
Although the world is in or should I say the people in the world are in a bad state right now, "but the end is not yet!" That is how the Bible puts it at Matthew 24:6.
2 Timothy 3:1-5 says, "But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here". All outward appearance indicates something is about to happen, however, the Bible also says at, (Matthew 24:36) “Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.

So do we sit around and just wait to see what happens or is there something we can do to prepare ourselves?
John 17:3 says, "This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ." Action is required on our part.
