So I'm a costume maker, and I got some rust on gloves I made. I washed it out pretty well but there's still a little bit on it. The appearance doesn't bother me, but I'm wondering if having rust on my gloves and wearing those gloves could like transmit those rust particles onto my skin and into my bloodstream and give me a disease or something ? (This sounds dumb, but I have severe obsessive compulsive disorder and its scaring me a lot but I don't want to throw away those gloves since I worked hard on them )

A rust stain will NOT give you problems. You are probably worried about tetanus, but your tetanus vaccine shot should prevent that if you step on a rusty nail, let alone a bit of rust on a glove which is highly unlikely to do anything under any circumstance. It is highly unlikely you are allergic to rust. If you haven't shown symptoms quickly (irritation within an hour of exposure)then you won't have problems. I am sad to hear you are obsessive-compulsive. I have sensitive skin and I have worked with rust stained gloves in a mine for hours on end with no ill effects. I really hope this puts your mind at ease about this WorriedWart :)
