I am in Taiwan and found a puppy I want to rescue. She is 3 months old now and if I adopt her she will fly 18 hours to the states. Her mother was hit by a car when she was 1 month old and she is a fairly timid puppy from what I've seen so far. Is the long journey going to be to stressful for her? Will the new climate be too much as well?

i think animals adapt pretty fast she is young enough where i think she'll adapt pretty fast i thing she would be fine as long as she is put in a pet carrier. They will let her fly with you just make sure her shots are up to date and gets a physical before she travels.Being she is young see if she can be with you in your seat this will help alot i think.
There are endless examples. Mice have over run part of Australia and rabbits have over run another part, and cactus has over run a third part. Meanwhile, pet fish and caymans have taken over lakes because owners threw them there when they lost interest. Hawaii has mosquitoes because some sailor wanted to make the natives miserable.
That seems a bit extreme. I'm talking about a domesticated dog who will have all her shots and is quarantined for a short period of time. My question is more along the lines of comfort level for the puppy and emotional impact.
I repeat, governments go bat-stuff crazy.
You can ask the people at the airline about it. They can give you exact details.
Disasters? Like what?
