Is president Obama a socialist?

It depends how you define socialist. In some countries, socialism is a dirty word whereas in others it's seen as providing education, healthcare and assistance at times of need regardless of how much (or little) money you were born into.

I'd say that President Obama is in charge of a very right-wing country and his policies seem centrist to the rest of the world whereas to citizens of his own country, they may seem left-wing.
