In some cultures, a man can have more then one wife. Can a woman, also have more then one husband?

That's called Polyandry, when a woman has more than one husband.
as far as "acceptable"....Depends who you ask. A lot of cultures practice either polygamy (SE Asian countries, Middle Eastern and African Countries) and Polyandry (India, Tibet, Nepal)
Polyandry is much less common.
