Is phrase "(something) makes me feel decay" correct?

Decay is either a verb or a noun, an action or the result of that action, but it's not something you feel. "Decayed" would be grammatically correct, but still without meaning because nobody knows what that might feel like. You can go to www.thesaurus.com and enter your word to see lists of words with similar meanings and often that leads you to the word you want.

What if "decayed" is some kind of metaphor. Would it be alright then? Thank you for your answer.

Yes yes if you're using it in poetry or something!

I do this every single day
The pain it makes me feel decay

Or "and deep within I feel decay"

Cheers mate, that's what I was looking for. English isn't my first language so I just wanted to make sure that everything will be correct, I wanted to use it in poem as well so thanks a lot once again ;)
