I'm 5'3", 102lbs. and conscious about what I put into my body. However, I eat pasta (usually plain) about 3-4 times a week. Is that bad? I've been doing it for two years and haven't lost/gained weight and had no decline in health.

well that says alot that about the situation that doesn't hurt you in the long run sounds like your really healthy so i would watch your carbs but be alert to the things that tell your body theres something wrong thats how i would look at things i don't see where pasta is hurting anything
All in excess is bad for your body. Pasta is high in carbohydrates, or carbs, which release insulin into your bloodstream.Eating too much pasta can cause strong cravings for carb-loaded foods and if is eat in high quantities, carbs can cause weight gain and create a roller-coaster effect on your insulin levels. Maybe you don't see now the consequences but can come when you become older. Another case is that Pastas are capable of severely aggravating the pelvic pain in a disease condition called endometriosis.
So it is very important that you are aware to no exceed the limit of the portions. You don't see the side effects now dear friend. I recommend you to eat some other vegetables for example that will give you the same or more carbohydrates than pasta… non starchy veggies like leafy greens, mushrooms, … as you want, plus two fruits and three to six servings a day of starchy vegetables or grains (ideally whole grains) each day. A serving size equals a half-cup of cooked rice or pasta, one slice of bread, a cup of cereal or one small potato.
