my siberian husky just turned 1 year old and he is 63 lbs, and extremely tall and long. he towers over other huskies and is even taller than german shepherds. He is very skinny and has long legs and a very long and straight tail. he has icy blue eyes and a narrow face. Everywhere I go, people ask if he is a hybrid, and he is not AKC registered as we adopted him from a guy when he was 5 months. Any insight?

Well that will be hard to know with seeing your husky. It's not uncommon for siberian husky to get that big. I've seen plenty that are that big. He's not registered either. My best bet for you if you really want to know the answer is go do DNA test. There are do at home test at home so you can tell what breeds your dog is. It will tell you what your dog's DNA consist of. As in what DNA breeds are in your dog. It will not tell you the percentage of what breeds are in your dog but only the breeds name. For example if your dog is a hybrid, it would show canis lupus DNA and siberian husky DNA. You have to mail it to a lab and they will email you the results. In my opinion I think it's very affordable.
