did you know, btw, that our organs are simply held in place by 'life force' and fall down when dead? they have no shelves...just life force and our unhealthy eating causes so much prolapsed stomachs that it's considered normal!

The mind is the software; the body is the hardware, both are separate. Therefore, the brain is also the hardware, but the mind is the thought factory, it will produce thoughts. The body has a gross physical body, it can touch and feel. And the subtle aspect which is the mind, intellect, memory and the ego - these four are the software of human existence. These four aspects are subtle in nature, they can't be touched or felt. But they exist. They are separate from the gross physical body. However, we have not been able to prove the connection between the two. What completes human existence is not just the hardware and software, but the power supply. The body, the mind, along with the Spirit, the Soul or Atman, make a human being alive.
