Is Katniss or Peeta the main charecter in the hunger games?? who is better??

Katniss is the main character because the book the centered around her life in district 12 and peeta is just her love affair if peeta was the main character the book would be in his perspective and Katniss is stronger then peeta in many ways and she shows off her badassness more but peeta is also easy on the eyes and very muscular

Katniss is the main character and is a lot better then Peeta and I'm not just saying it because she is the main character or that I'm team gale because I'm on neither of those teams so anyway the whole book is written from katniss' point of view so main character she is a fairly good archer she's pretty brave and strong and shows unconditional love for her sister while Peeta is a cake decorater who can't do anything right whether it's walking into force fields or leading the bad guys straight to katniss so they can kill her while he's in love with her Peeta is useless
