I'm 16 years old turning 17 in a few months and have recently found a passion in basketball. I live in Australia and am currently in year 12 finishing my last year of high school. I have never played competitively before but I love watching basketball and playing for fun at the local court, and I really want to start taking it up seriously. Right now I'm about 6'3 tall, weight about 185 lbs and have a strong physique, so physically I feel good, but what I really want to know is, am I too late achieve NBA status? Living in Australia, having really no experience of playing and stating at the age of 16 are all things that make me think this isn't possible, no matter how much work I put in. Regardless of this though I am fully motivated and determined to make it into the NBA, I just want to know if it is possible and if so, how? What do I have to next? What process/plan must I take?

i think they have scouts that come around and watch players that whole process is that you might beaware that their there but they won't approach you right away but they'll talk with school officials normally the school officials will say something to you about their watching to see what you will bring to the table and what you have to offer but they'll watch for awhile to see if you hold the pace or not but thats how you get into the nba by giving 150 percent all the time
