So i hate rushing it makes me stressed. I like to do things at my own pace and in my own time. Is this such a bad thing?

Nope. It's fine. Especially when you aren't comfortable about it. Like about your body you know. But sometimes it's okay to rush and get out of your comfort zone and do things you are or aren't afraid of. It depends how fast or slow your own pace is. If your pace isn't very fast then eventually you should have a faster pace. I like to do stuff at my own pace also and sometimes change it up a bit.
