It is possible to hack a network by pretending to be a lightbulb. One hacker got into a system by sending an email to the executive program (what we now call an operating system) telling it to make him the system superviser.
Hackers are good at guessing things that other people don't know. So the answer to your question, by definition, is "Nobody knows."
