I am Ammar; student of mechanical engineering department, NEDUET. I wanted some help regarding my final year project. It’s just an idea, I can’t find anything regarding this over internet.
I was thinking about developing a smart fluid integrated with sensors that could be used for internal pipe testing, there is a smart pigging technology that is used for such tasks but it is not general purpose, it is specifically designed for certain range of the diameter for which it can be used for.
I just wanted to know that would this be feasible for me as my final year project or should I jump to something else.
Thank you,
Regards,
Ammar.
Is it possible to develop a smart fluid integrated with sensors that could be used in NDT for pipes?

Nondestructive testing (NDT) is a wide group of analysis techniques used in science and industry to evaluate the properties of a material, component or system without causing damage.

It is not nice to use technical jargon without explaining its meaning. When people have to guess at your meaning, they might guess wrong. You have a similar problem with "smart fluid". Nobody ever heard of such a thing. You don't say anything about what you want to do, so nobody can suggest anything else. You just need to work on explaining your project to other people. Take an acting class and concentrate on vocal skills such as story telling.
