I love gymnastics and I want to get into states. I don't go to a club and I can't. I decided to do some training at home. I haven't been able to do the splits. I remember a few years ago being told I was too tall to reach my toes(I still can't reach my toes) so I'm wondering if it's possible to be too tall to do the splits. Yes, I'm a tall person. I'm a 14 year old girl. Idk my height but it's probably between 160-170cm.
Is it possible to be too tall to do the splits?

Sit on the floor with soles together. Take hold of your toes and lean forward as far as you can go. Hold for a dew seconds, then sit up and rest. Lean forward again and go one inch farther than before. Hold, sit up, rest. Lean forward again and go one half inch farther. Hold, sit up, rest. Lean forward again and go one fourth inch farther than before. Hold, sit up, rest. Now get up and walk around for a while.
You can do this as often as you want, but it is very important NOT TO HURRY. It takes three weeks to see the start of results. If you try to hurry it you will tear something and it will take a while to heal and then it will take another three weeks to loosen up.
