I met a man on a dating site and he wants me to pick up money by moneygram for his friend then he wants me to send the money to someone in Nigeria. Does this sound suspicious?
There are so many scams out of Nigeria that many services refuse to transfer money to anyone in that country, even if you really mean it. It sounds like you ran across one of those scams. Maybe not, but the odds are against you.
This isn't racist at all, but if someone says, "Nigeria", that raises flags. It's a scam. If you send money to them, you'll find your bank account empty the next morning.
