If someone want you to do something and you do it....you ask them for favor in return shouldn't they do it?

It is important to consider when you do someone a favor of your expectation of a return favor. The best situation is to ask if they are willing to do that before you provide the help. My personal policy is to help people important to me or that I choose to help (I feel no obligation to help friends of friends). I will freely help them but if I need help and they can't make themselves available to help me (even if it is inconvienvent) then that's the last time I help them, ever. I do, however, understand they are not obligated to me because I usually offer my help freely. Once they have received my help and refused to return the help I quietly note that for any future requests for help for which I am never available.
