I live with my grandparents, my mom and her boyfriend, and my brother. My grandparents, and my mom and her boyfriend let me and my boyfriend be in my room alone together. Is that normal?
Is it normal to be 14 and be able to have my boyfriend in my room without being watched/supervised?

Is it normal? I wouldn't necessarily say it's normal. But it does seem like a concept that my parents tried with me and even I tried with my son. It's the practice of reverse psychology and trust. See telling someone they can't do something will make them want to do it even more. So the idea is to allow you some leeway. By letting you do certain things like staying unsupervised for short periods of time it may prevent you from going and sneaking out or running off to be unsupervised. Hope this helped. Have a great day bud!
