I'm a guy and hired a personal trainer. I'm an expat in Holland so I don't have many friends. Thus, the trainer became a good friend for me. But several things happened that I doubt if he is too friendly or if it is normal action. He sometimes tells me in training sessions that he has muscle pain and asked me to massage his painful part a bit. It is nothing too private so i didn't think much.
Then last week, I told him my weekend was boring in here. And he invited me to join beach party with his colleagues. When I came, I found out I was the only client of his who came. In the party, we were talking. I told him i couldn't ride bikes and he laughed. He told he can teach me. I didn't take his words seriously. But a few days later, he asked by himself when i want to start learning bikes with him. I was surprised coz almost no one i met so far in the Netherlands is so warm to an expat.
He is a bit touchy as well during training, such as using finger to press my chest, wrestling in a joking way. We didn't text much usually but when we meet he's always quite warm.
But one thing recently really freaked me out. One day I got changed and went to him for training. He just finished his own workout. He asked me to come with him. I thought he'll show me what to train. But he went to the changing room. I just followed anyway. In the changing room, he took off his shirt and started to flex. And he asked me to touch his muscles. I was so shocked but i just touched his shoulder and arm a bit. He continued flexing and said "touch my chest"! I was so embarrassed. Isn't it normal for personal trainer to act like this or he's just very friendly and it is just guy-and-guy joke in western countries coz i'm from asia?
He has a gf for 5 years and he for sure has interest in girls.
Is it normal or too friendly for a personal trainer to act like that?

it may be him just seeing to show you how you could look mabe he just wanted you as a friend as well if he was really trying to get you to do things that are uncomfortable just tell him your not comfortable with him doing theses things but i think if he meant anything by it he would be doing other things by now just monitor things
just pay close attention to what he does better to be cautionous then not
also he might just be a little touchy feely people can sometimes make you uncomfortable without realizing it ... but if it gets worse then get rid of him and hire another personal trainer.....
