I'm a 13 year old girl that had laparoscopic appendectomy done like 3 weeks ago And everything went smoothly the only thing is my scars and under my belly button itch like crazy and it's been going on for a while I itch around it sometimes and it's very sensitive it got red and the redness isn't going away anything I should do to prevent the itchiness??

itching usually means healing. however I would consider consulting a doctor. Ordinarily I would suggest putting Aloe Vera on it but since it's a surgicall scar and since I've never had surgery I'm not sure if that's a good idea. Feel free to try it if you want to but I have no experience of surgery so it might not be a good idea... just sayin.
