My mother, a single parent, with no job and who relies on benefits is telling me that children of any parent/parents have to pay money to them towards their keep as it's "the law". I'm happy to help her out and give her a little more money since she's struggling, and well, I live here too, but it's just pissing me off that she has to use this sort of lie (possibly) to have me keep giving her money.
Just wondering if this is actually a law in the UK. Or, anywhere in fact.
Is this just bullshit to keep the money rolling in?
