I mean, the USA's so right wing, think socialism is a disease, elects the dumbest and most warlike leaders, is an empire and anybody who stands in its way is done for, has the most insane lack of gun controls, has the dumbest "cultures" (think pop music, just for a start), is so madly religiously extreme and bigoted. I could go on and on..
My country, England, has become a slave to US culture. People here are nearly as dumbed down as the Americans - maybe they are! We also are an Empire, just now allied to the biggest bully boy empire on the planet. I ain't proud of it, so why are Americans? (apart from the obvious hysterical propaganda).
Is it just me, or is the US of A just a giant loony bin?!?

I see your point, but you need to learn how to stop sticking people with it. For instance, your own country is guilty of all the same complaints. Of the 240 or so nations in the world, England has invaded 220 of them.
Socialism IS a disease. It has failed every time it has been tried. Every time. The USA is now engaged in forcing socialized medicine on its citizens, and it has already failed in several ways but they won't admit it. They think it will work if they just write a cleverer plan.
What you need is to study history: broaden your horizons. You need to learn to consider the possibility that your opinion is wrong. Just the possibility. For instance, what you call religion takes in several subjects which are not religion at all, but you reject them all in a single breath. Many of your objections agree with the bible, but you reject that judgment because the bible is "religion".
And something else to work on is advice from the famous actor John Wayne: "Don't offend people unintentionally." That means to improve your taste so you don't put your foot in your mouth, and you only insult people when you mean to provoke something.
Oh dear, oh dear, this was EXACTLY what I was expecting. Glad you know all about me. I DO read history, all the time. One point I do agree with you on, England invaded most of the world, but that's exactly why I said that I ain't proud. So why are you so proud of your country's aggression(s)?
