Is it fine if I use gold colour acrylic paint in a watercolour painting for higlights?

That depends on whether you intend to frame the watercolour? Watercoloured paintings fade very quickly. The Acrylic will last much longer. As an artist myself, I wonder why you would want to spoil one medium, by using another?
