If it is common for a file to be broken off in the tooth is it common for a dentist to fill the tooth leaving it in there?? Will it get infected if so?

It is very true that it is a common task to break a file into the teeth panel while root canalling, but it must be fixed by the respective dentist. In case of not fixing that there may be severe infections which may cause high pain and fever. If you have met with such incident, do not be late to contact an experienced dentist. Thanks for the conversation
No that is not common. I would go to a new dentist.
Do NOT get a root canal. You can TRY to heal the tooth with oil pulling (read about it) I use coconut oil. I would have them redo the filling and go to a different dentist.
Read the dangers of root canals. They will get infected. It's a dead tooth after the roots are removed. You don't want it in your body. There is no blood supply for your body to fight off the infection. It will only get worse. Your'e better off getting the tooth extracted then opting for RCT.
I know this from personal experience and wish someone would have informed me before I ever got root canals and crowns.
